Connect is a charity for people living with aphasia, a communication disability which usually occurs after stroke. It can also be caused by brain injury or tumour.

We aim to improve the lives of people living with aphasia, equipping them to re-connect with life.

    This blog is designed primarily to make people understand the condition of aphasia, an acquired language disorder in which there is an impairment of any language modality often a result of a stroke. This may include difficulty in producing or comprehending spoken or written language
